The night we were presented with Kyleās wish! We were so excited!!!
An event for all Make A Wish families on board
Kyles always been a huge fan of water so the kiddie pool on board was a highlight!
Kyles only plane ride ever. He did great but as he got older it would have been much harder.
Best Pirates Party ever!!!
Special Thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation and their sponsors for making this trip possible! Forever Grateful!
Cutest little Pirate ever!!!
Make a wish convoy
In 2008 I guess we didnāt ride, we just all sat together to watch.
2009 was pretty sweet! Kyle was surprised to see Barb at the convoys start. She rode the truck with Kyle this year and we invited lots of friends to join us for lunch. We took a grill and made burgers right there. Had a great time!! Thanks to all who joined us!!
2007 was our first year to ride in the convoy. dad rode with Kyle & I sat with the kids, family & friends along the route. Kyle got to ride on a fire truck with Schoeneck Fire Co. They were such great people!
Each year our local Make A Wish chapter holds a convoy on Motherās day as their yearly fundraiser. We were fortunate enough to ride along with Kyle for several years. Thanks to all who came out to show support along the route & to those who sat with the part of the family that couldnāt ride along! We are so blessed!
Kyle & Barb had such a sweet bond! Forever grateful God brought her into our lives!!!
There they come!! Riding with the Esh Food truck!!
2011- I must have been sick!! lol I have 5 pictures from this day, this one of them arriving at our exit, one of them coming back through at the end of the convoy, Ivan reading a newspaper & 2 other trucks! How weird! Kyles beastie, Barb (AKA Mrs D) rode with him again and our family sat with friends to watch. I know Ivan took him to meet the truck so I understand no pictures there but I have no idea why there arrent any of them going by us!! Mom Fail!!
2012 Was my (mom) year to go with Kyle. It was a sweet trip with the Esh food Truck again!
Iād like to give a special shout out and thank you too our friends & neighbors, Esh Foods (Dave & Barb Esh, Jason & Ann Michelle Stoltzfus) for supporting us in this way! So Fun and meant so much! Also to Elvin for the many years he drove Kyle!!
As you can see Kyle started out riding shot gun, I love his feet propped on the open truck window.
Its a long trip, like 3 hours, so when he was tired we put him in the bed on the back where we would lay down, then sit back up at times. He even took a small nap but was just super sweet. I believe this was before the days i could do a selfie because where are the selfies??
